Barney's coat began as a red/chocolate color and quickly began to look more red than Chocolate. Right now at almost 2 years of age, his color would be called 'straw' according to the Russian Standard. The light color you see is NOT white (more than 20% white is forbidden by the standard, but a cream to beige color.
