Bolonka puppies, like the bejeweled and sumptuous Faberge egg, are exquisite little charmers.  Their affection knows no bounds . They are happily curious and wonderful members of the family, getting along well with older dogs, children, and vistors.  It has been wonderful to watch and learn about their development since they are such a new and rare breed. Bolonka mums are watchful and almost wolf-like in keeping their babies hidden from view. The new puppy colludes in this by appearing totally "sluggish" until about 5-6 weeks of age. Contrast this to our havanese puppies which are up, about, and curious by 3-4 weeks of age. However, when they are ready for their "debut" they make a quite dramatic entry.
While Bolonka puppies come in other colours, black is the dominant color. Below you can see the Pearlettes, sired by Ladushki Rostok aka Neko at Faireland and Ladushki Kudrjashka aka Pearl at Ahavapicaro.
